Membership Groups
Teaching Pool

·National Teaching Plan Up to level 7.
·Beginners from 4 years. The club operates a waiting list.
·Swimmers swim in ability groups assessed regularly.
·Emphasis on water confidence and stroke development.
·1 x ½ hour lesson
·Level 7 NTP 2 x ½ hour lesson
Development Groups 1 2 and 3

·National Teaching Plan Level 7 - 10
·Multi Stroke
·Swimmers swim in ability groups assessed monthly.
·Skill based stroke progression and stroke technique.
·Competitive starts and turns and butterfly introduced.
·1 x 1 hour stroke technique widths session per week
·2 x 1 hour skill progression lengths session per week
Juniors

·Level 11 NTP and above
·Aerobic development
·Early competitive swimmers
·Swimmers competent with pace clock and repeat sets.
·Excellence in stroke technique starts and turns emphasised.
·Swimmers swim in ability groups assessed monthly.
·Morning training introduced.
Rookie Squad

·Selection based on swimmers age (must be 9yrs ASA minimum age for competition) ability and commitment. 
·County standard for younger age groups
·Aerobic development
·Training cycles introduced
·Test Sets introduced
·Work directly with Head Coach
·Morning training required.
Performance Squad

·Available 12 hours per week pool time including morning sessions.  Gym and land training
·County standard and above
·Selection based on ability, commitment, attitude and attendance.
·Training programme inline with LTAD
Swim Fit

·Teenage swimmers who don’t want to compete but swim to keep fit.
·2 hours per week.
·Available to swimmers in their 14th year plus. Places limited.
